Lou Powsner

Lou Powsner, a former Coney Island businessman and neighborhood activist remembers his fond and not so fond memories of working in Coney Island. Jennifer Snow, his grand-daughter, talks about the future of Coney Island and having a grandfather who is well-known in the Coney Island community.

Lou Powsner passed away on April 6, 2014 at age 93. In 2015 the corner of West 17th Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island was named Louis Powsner Way in his honor.
