Yolanda Zhang

Yolanda Zhang is a multilingual journalist with a B.A. in Russian Studies from McGill University. Currently, she is studying for an M.A. in Journalism at New York University's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. Her interests include cultural studies; labor migration between China, Central Asia and Russia; and race, ethnicity and multiculturism. She was a research fellow at McGill’s Society of China Studies and a translator at Renmin University’s Center for Russian Studies. Yolanda speaks Mandarin, English, Russian, French and Uyghur.
